GOZEN x 1972 DESA: LUNAFORM™ Debuts at Milan Fashion Week with 1972 Desa FW26
We are proud to announce our newest commercial collaboration with 1972 Desa, unveiled at Milan Fashion Week within the FW26 collection, Shades of Seduction.
The debut of a LUNAFORM™ trench coat on the runway marks the first visible signal of our long-term strategic partnership with DESA.
Established in 2014 as the distilled expression of more than fifty years of craftsmanship excellence from the Çelet Family, 1972 Desa is defined by pure, elegant lines, refined construction and contemporary volumes shaped by the innate texture of material. Designed between Milan and Istanbul, the house approaches material not as surface, but as structure, balancing durability and softness within a minimalist yet rigorous design language where the quality of the garment speaks for itself.
It is within this disciplined material culture that LUNAFORM™ entered the runway.

Grown and harvested in Istanbul through GOZEN’s proprietary BioCraft technology, LUNAFORM™ is an advanced biomaterial formed in just seven days as microorganisms create a biological lattice of nanocellulose, resulting in a material that is 100% bio-based in its wet state (USDA certified). Together with DESA and its fifty years of craftsmanship excellence, we introduced a new LUNAFORM™ quality for FW26, developed into a smooth and soft material suited for elevated tailoring. Processed in DESA’s LWG Gold-certified tannery without toxic chemicals and finished in its specialized ateliers, the material appeared on the runway as a trench coat within the refined design language of 1972 Desa.
During Milan Fashion Week, the collaboration signaled a new material reality where heritage craftsmanship meets forward-thinking biomaterial science.
The presence of LUNAFORM™ within the FW26 collection reflects a shared commitment: to elevate material innovation without compromising on luxury, precision, or design integrity. The collaboration reflects more than a runway moment. The debut further demonstrates that LUNAFORM™️ can be grown locally at scale, processed within certified sustainable infrastructures, and integrated into established manufacturing systems.
